Travel and accommodation

Where is the QEII Centre?

Situated directly opposite Westminster Abbey, the venue is a short walk over Westminster Bridge from the Park Plaza Hotel or a short taxi ride from many of London’s leading hotels.

Travelling by train, tube or bus?

The closest tube stations to the QEII are St James’s Park or Westminster (5-minute walk). Victoria and Waterloo main line train stations are within a 15-minute walk.

For more information and transport timetables, visit https://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/timetables . An Oyster card (a ‘smartcard’ which makes travel in London so much simpler), can be used on the London over ground, tube, buses and DLR and attracts cheaper single fares and daily price capping. More information available at https://oyster.tfl.gov.uk/oyster/entry.do .

Please note: Rail services will be disrupted between Monday 29 January and Monday 5 February. This includes a series of strikes. Please bear this in mind when making Conference travel arrangements. More details can be found at London Travel Watch .
